After announcing their engagement in October, power couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are already making wedding plans, as reported by Hollywood Life.
A source recently disclosed to Hollywood Life that the plan of Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani is to get married after the novel coronavirus pandemic, just like any other couple nowadays.
The couple, who started a relationship in late 2015, wanted to have a chance to celebrate with the people they are going to invite on their big day, the source explained.

“Planning is already taking place and the dream would be later next year [2021], the tipster continued, “when hopefully everyone is out of this COVID mess, or it is at least more contained.”
Nonetheless, according to the source, there is still a possibility that Shelton and Stefani will walk down the aisle during the current global crisis if need be.
NOT IN A HURRY
Another insider also revealed to the news outlet that the “Nobody But You” singers are in no hurry to exchange their wedding vows. For now, Shelton and Stefani want to savor their time as an engaged couple, the insider explained.
The insider also shared some details about Shelton and Stefani’s plans for their wedding, saying it will be a family affair. Stefani’s children with ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale — Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6 — will be very involved in their wedding, the insider added.
On October 27, Shelton and Stefani made their engagement official via Instagram. The “Hollaback Girl” singer posted a charming picture of her ring along with Shelton.
For Shelton’s actual proposal, the country singer took the traditional route.
PRENUPTIAL AGREEMENT
Shelton and Stefani want a prenuptial agreement agreed upon before they tie the knot. For a few months, the couple has been in prenup talks, a source told US Weekly.
There have been “no hiccups, or outrageous demands” during the conversations about prenup between the award-winning singers, the source explained to the news outlet.
The source went on to say that Stefani can’t afford to not have a prenup with Shelton because she did not have it with Rossdale, whom she divorced in 2016.
TRADITIONAL WEDDING PROPOSAL
Meanwhile, an insider told Entertainment Tonight that Shelton got a little help from Stefani’s sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo before he popped the question to their famous mother.
For Shelton’s actual proposal, the country singer took the traditional route. The source explained that he made sure to get approval from Stefani’s father, Dennis Stefani.
The source continued that Stefani is very traditional, so the “God Gave Me You” singer really felt that approaching her father for approval was the right thing to do.
