Offering the storm is a Spanish German film that was released on 24th July 2020 on Netflix. It is the last installment of the trilogy following The invisible Guardian and The legacy of the Bones was directed by Fernando Gonzalez Molina and written by Luiso Berdejo and Dolores Redondo.
The first two installments were a huge hit and it received many positive reviews both from the audience and the critics. The fans of the film were eagerly waiting for the next part of the movie and it is finally out with a bang.

The release of Offering the Storm:
The shooting and the production works of the third installment of the trilogy were completed a long back and all set to release and then happened the unexpected COVID-19 pandemic and the release of the film was postponed.
The very expected movie of the trilogy “Offering to the Storm” was finally out on 24th July of this year on Netflix.
Due to the existing novel coronavirus pandemic, the movie could not be released on the big screens. But thankfully Netflix has adapted the film and gave us a visual treat for us in this boring lockdown situation.

The Plot of “Offering to the storm”:
Offering to the storm is a kind of standalone film. It does not have any connection to the previous two films and has a separate storyline but the climax of the movie will be clear only if you have watched the previous films as it takes back you to the initial scenes of the previous films.
The third installment will be more clear if you have watched the previous two films earlier.
The story revolves around a baby and his father who tries to escape with the baby for his belief in the offering. Hearing this Amaia starts her investigation and ends up finding many other cases in the city similar to that.
In the investigation, she finds out about a magician who has the power of killing people when they are sleeping. After a while, the case turns over to her family and her own town and from there the story of the previous two films of the trilogy comes into the scene and continues from there.
The storyline of “offering of the storm”:
As I mentioned before, it is a thriller movie with lots and lots of thrilling and suspense scenes.
The first part of the film The Invisible Guardian starts with Amaia when she takes a murder case of a girl found in the woods. She comes to know a connection with the other cases and it takes to her past life and her mother. She feels a connection between her past life of her mother with the case and the mystery hidden about her family and the case.
In the second sequel, The Legacy of the Bones, Amaia is working on another case of serial murders, that also link her back to her home town, and her mother’s past. This film revealed further Amaia’s relationship with her mother, who is a chillingly scary woman, and uncovered a deeply buried family secret. A lot of what is revealed in this film find their conclusion in Offering to the Storm.
