Reese Witherspoon‘s popular book club will now also pick a monthly Young Adult (YA) book as well as its monthly adult read, the star has announced.
Posting on her own Instagram account, she made the reveal and told fans what the first book was going to be.
“I’m so thrilled to introduce my very first Young Adult book pick for @ReesesBookClub, You Should See Me in a Crown @byLeahJohnson 👑,” Reese wrote.
She explained: “I’ve been reading so many incredible, diverse stories in the YA genre and can’t wait to share them with you each month as an additional pick. Good news for the avid readers out there… This means double the book picks!
“Head over to @ReesesBookClub to learn more about this super funny, joyful story that’ll have you reliving your high school prom days! 📚”

The Reese’s Book Club page made a similar announcement, saying: “These books will feature women at the centre of the story and are intended for older teens and adults.”
If you want to get your teens reading more, Reese’s Book Club YA could be a great way to do it. Encouraging them to not only read every month but to be able to discuss and think about the books they’re reading.
But, as Reese said, for avid grown-up readers there’s no reason you can’t read them too!
