The theme of this year was Mysterious Musings -2020 and it saw the students delving into the world of mystery, suspense and thrill.
On the occasion of World Literacy Day, Pallavi Model School conducted a virtual inter-school book review competition on Zoom. About 18 schools participated in this event. Two participants from classes VI or VII represented each school. ‘Reading makes a full man’. Following this famous quote by Francis Bacon, children geared up with their reading skills and enthusiastically presented interesting reviews on books of famous authors like Arthur Conan Doyle, Carolyn Keene, Agatha Christie, JK Rowling, Ruskin Bond, Satyajit Ray and various others.

Many of the reviewers took the audience by surprise through their excellent narration of plot and characters. As it is said ‘Reading is to the mind as exercise is to the body, the event motivated audience to read books, not just for pleasure but also to explore the nuances of English language and literature.
The judges at the competition were Anjali Razdan, Director Academics, Solan Public School, HP and Prof KVS Krishna Mohan, GITAM, Hyderabad Business School. Winners of the competition were Sreshta Nag of Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally; Prajval Chajjer of Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally; Vaishnavi Thota of Pallavi Model School, Alwal and Ishita Mahadevan of Suchitra Academy International School. Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally bagged the most treasured Rolling Trophy Impressions 2020. Academic Director, Pallavi Group of Schools, T Sudha; PMS Bowenpally Principal, Shailaja Reddy and others took part in the online event.
