The Vishwarang Art and Literature Festival 2020 commenced with a bang in five countries. Celebrating the culture, art and literature of about 15 countries, Vishwarang witnessed a mix of amazing events around the globe.
This year being online the festival kicked off from Australia; where the inauguration was done with the lamp lighting in front of the idol of Lord Ganesha at Macquarie University in Sydney. Rekha Rajwanshi, director of Vishwarang Australia, commenced the online program by lighting the lamp with the mantra “Shubhan Karoti Kalyanam Arogyam Dhanasampada, spiritual gesture was laid in front of almighty.
Various artists gave the classical performances. The dance group from Melbourne performed spectacular performances of Ghungroo dance at Vishwarang Australia. A session on Importance of expatriates in strong cultural relationships was delivered. The event ended with the Hindi Kavi Sammelan. Rekha Rajvanshi also conducted this session.
Singapore inaugural session was started with folk music and dance. In Singapore chapter, the segment was started with meet the author. this segment focus on the leading famous literary personality and authors ,who shared the in depth experience with slight taste of personal experience. Rajeev patke, introduced the novelist, award winner short story writer Kangalatha. While sharing the screen she narrated the the insight of being the writer in different country. Althrough, art has no barriers and she passionately wrote the her audience.
Her creation was mainly on empowering women, dignity and pride. She said ‘women are the ornamental and fundamentals of family’. Another segment was Singapore kavitaee, in which was coordinated by gauri shrivastava and shardula nogaja. The poets with indifferent creation was attended the session. The poems varied from the depth of infinity and were reaching the core of heart through audience ears.
The Day 1 of the Vishwarang Art and Literature Festival- 2020 witnessed UAE as a new participant this year. On the beginning of the festival the day was dedicated to various art forms like Dance, Music and Art. The day kicked of with the dance festival or Nritya Utsav where the renowned kathak dancer from UAE Aarti Agarwal and her Daughter Preksha Agarwal shared their views about classical dance as an art form and its existence and prominence outside India. apart from that a session on Music and Art was also conducted where several renowned artists based in UAE shared their achievements and talked about their works.
In Uk session more than 50 eminent personalities from the world of art and culture participated and showcased the bond between India and Uk prevailing since 16th century.
The session in UK were prominently occupied with the mesmerising dance and cultural performances and Kavi sammelan.
And has also witnessed a discussion over art and culture. apart from that it was also addressed by various renowned people including the Chancellor of Ranbindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, Santosh Chaoubey, who shared the core idea behind this festival and talked about various events and welcomed everyone in the same.
